Mr. Ajmera's Review (A business user)

No point fidgeting with a screen that poses real difficulty both while watching videos and typing on the cramped keyboard, the portability that is offered by the smaller screen seems futile against the little value it offers with respect to functionality. Although I am not so much into file sharing via Bluetooth as I am more of an email guy, but it is quite essential for hands-free calling.

Mrs. Iyer's Review (A homemaker)

The size of the Salora SM501 makes it extremely portable, but with its tiny and cramped keypad it's really not of much use to me. I never let a special occasion pass by without recording it, right from cake cutting to dinner parties; and the Salora SM501 with good recording features is really good for me. I don't like the camera in particular, and I won't be buying the Salora SM501, however good the other features might be. Smartphones with larger memory is always preferred by me; this phone can't even hold images and videos which I save in a single week. The expandable memory of the Salora SM501 is a good option for me as against the high priced smartphones which come with high internal memory.

Ishan's Review (A geek)

Although the display looks great, the tiny screen size is too awkward to please the gamer or the ardent bookworm in me. No clue what's the point of storage which can't even make enough room for my apps, leave alone my books and games. Even if your smartphone offers good amount of internal storage, extendable memory never hurts and is good to know that there's room left if you need.

Prachi's Review (A social butterfly)

For me the 2.4 inches display is the first thing I noticed in the Salora SM501. I love texting and all my friends too prefer texting over talking, so I find the screen size of the Salora SM501 very cramped. Yes, 1.3 MP is not that great camera resolution. There are so many smartphones with better megapixels sometimes even cheaper than this phone. I love clicking pictures with my smartphone and this one doesn't seem up for it. I always forget charging my phone so USB charging via my laptop is really a good option for me and sometimes I even use this port to transfer music and images. The internal storage in the Salora SM501 is quite stingy with the tiny 0.000506 GB. I don't know what it is good for when it can hardly hold any of my media files.
