Philips 130

Detailed Review

It would be a tad demanding to use the phone as its display size falls below 2.5 inches despite the portability. This smartphone has a resolution of 128*160 pixels to offer. The Philips 130 sports a display of 4.5 cms; approximately 1.77 inches.

Megapixels are not the sole determiners of the quality of your images and videos. You have the flexibility to get surprisingly good results even with a 0.5 megapixels camera when the sensor is of good quality.

General Features

The Philips 130 here is credited with a Black body.

The sim type contained in this phone is the Dual Sim.

Basic functions may not be an issue with the 0.256 GB ram but it is a strict no-no for those who use their phones for more complicated apps. The huge internal memory of the phone makes it possible for all the media you occasion and want to reach your pocket.

The Linux vbasic v1 (Series 30) operating system is the one delivering the awesome performance.

Mr. Ajmera's Review (A business user)

No point fidgeting with a screen that poses real difficulty both while watching videos and typing on the cramped keyboard, the portability that is offered by the smaller screen seems futile against the little value it offers with respect to functionality. I primarily rely on phone for emails and calls which are extremely frequent; so such a meagre battery really doesn't cut it for me.

Mrs. Iyer's Review (A homemaker)

I hate typing messages on the Philips 130 with its tiny keypad as I misspell a single word more than 3 times. A smartphone without a good camera is really not my choice, even if the Philips 130 other excellent is credited with and fairly makes up. This is a very nice storage for all my images, videos and music as I hardly have to delete anything due to storage issues.

Ishan's Review (A geek)

Although the display looks particularly pleasing, the tiny screen size is too awkward to please the gamer or the ardent bookworm in me. An internal RAM this low isn't competent in handling any level of multitasking or gaming. I have the flexibility to download and save all my cool and graphic-heavy games with the 256 GB internal storage of this smartphone and still have enough room for my ebooks and apps. I'd like my smartphone battery to at least last me an intensive gaming session that goes on for 2-3 hours without battery warnings; the Philips 130 doesn't explore to it.

Prachi's Review (A social butterfly)

For me the 1.77 inches display is the first thing I noticed in the Philips 130. I prefer texting over talking but this screen size is way too cramped to do that easily. 0.5 MP is not that particularly pleasing camera resolution. You are able to easily go for any other smartphone with a better camera, it might even be cheaper. I click hundreds of cool pics with my smartphone and don't think image be so cool with this phone. I love the Philips 130 where I hardly delete photos and videos due to storage issues. Plus I even carry around my entire music library. My smartphone is my world and it easily carries around my numerous group pics, videos with friends, my favourite YouTube videos, music, books, social networking apps and much more.
