Mr. Ajmera's Review (A business user)

If there is one thing absolutely vital in my smartphone apart from great call management, is it being able to download and edit most email attachments; and much more such as VOIP Support present in this device. It's a constant struggle with the Micromax Canvas EG111 Duet II to balance my need for a large screen and keyboard that accommodate my large fingers, against the need for a small size and low weight device that would enhance mobility. Not an hour goes by without my phone ringing, that's why I always go for something like the Micromax Canvas EG111 Duet II that has all the advanced features to ease the communication. Although I am not so much into file sharing via Bluetooth as I am more of an email guy, but it is quite essential for hands-free calling. I am constantly on the move, even if most of the travel routes are familiar, the GPS navigation in the Micromax Canvas EG111 Duet II is quite reliable and reassuring.

Mrs. Iyer's Review (A homemaker)

I like typing on the large keypad of the Micromax Canvas EG111 Duet II but the screen overall is too big to carry around. I like enlarging the images and text on the screen, which I do quite often, using my fingers instead of fidgeting with the settings and multi-touch on this phone allows me to do it. I never let a special occasion pass by without recording it, right from cake cutting to dinner parties; and the Micromax Canvas EG111 Duet II with good recording features is really good for me. I don't like the camera in particular, and I won't be buying the Micromax Canvas EG111 Duet II, however good the other features might be. Smartphones with larger memory is always preferred by me; this phone can't even hold images and videos which I save in a single week.

Ishan's Review (A geek)

Gaming or reading on the larger-than-life 5.3 inch display of the Micromax Canvas EG111 Duet II is really exciting as the graphics seem so real and the text so lucid. I definitely need a multi-touch screen to zoom in or out on the gaming action and even flick the ebook pages. Gaming on the Micromax Canvas EG111 Duet II with 1.2 GHz is decently fluid, not that exciting though; for the long haul however, I would recommend a higher frequency for gaming. My games load way faster in quad-core and deliver an overall smooth performance; add increased clock speed to this and you get a real deal. Not just multi-tasking, but running heavier games and apps simultaneously is breeze with 1 GB RAM. No clue what's the point of storage which can't even make enough room for my apps, leave alone my books and games.

Prachi's Review (A social butterfly)

For me the 5.3 inches display is the first thing I noticed in the Micromax Canvas EG111 Duet II. And I simply can't stop admiring the awesome screen size and the fantastic videos of the Micromax Canvas EG111 Duet II. Movies and videos on a large screen are the best, the screen type or resolution doesn't matter to me much. Even typing is quite easy on a large screen, although you always need both hands to operate it. I can zoom in or zoom out images with pinching movements of my fingers on the screen of the Micromax Canvas EG111 Duet II. And flick my fingers to rotate images or turn pages of ebook; that's why the Multi-Touch technology is really nice. Yes, 8 MP is not that great camera resolution. There are so many smartphones with better megapixels sometimes even cheaper than this phone. I love clicking pictures with my smartphone and this one doesn't seem up for it. I can't imagine my smartphone without the secondary camera. I and my friends simply love the selfies and groupies and click hundreds of them. It's too much effort to do it with the main camera, so having a cool front camera is much better; it is more fun to have front camera with higher megapixels. My smartphone should do a lot of things simultaneously and not just basic messaging, emails and browsing. And the 2G network is too slow to do anything more than that. I can now travel to almost any new place or location with the built-in GPS and it is great help during various emergencies, traffic updates or navigation issues. I always forget charging my phone so USB charging via my laptop is really a good option for me and sometimes I even use this port to transfer music and images. The internal storage in the Micromax Canvas EG111 Duet II is quite stingy with the tiny 2.5 GB. I don't know what it is good for when it can hardly hold any of my media files.
