The size of the Micromax Bolt A61 makes it extremely portable, but with its tiny and cramped keypad it's really not of much use to me. I never let a special occasion pass by without recording it, right from cake cutting to dinner parties; and the Micromax Bolt A61 with good recording features is really good for me. I don't like the camera in particular, and I won't be buying the Micromax Bolt A61, however good the other features might be. Smartphones with larger memory is always preferred by me; this phone can't even hold images and videos which I save in a single week. Although the display looks great, the tiny screen size is too awkward to please the gamer or the ardent bookworm in me. Well, the frequency never bothered me so much with reading, but gaming on this 1 GHz device is a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend such a low RAM even for the most amateur gamer; in fact for anyone. No clue what's the point of storage which can't even make enough room for my apps, leave alone my books and games. For me the 4 inches display is the first thing I noticed in the Micromax Bolt A61. I love texting and all my friends too prefer texting over talking, so I find the screen size of the Micromax Bolt A61 very cramped. Yes, 2 MP is not that great camera resolution. There are so many smartphones with better megapixels sometimes even cheaper than this phone. I love clicking pictures with my smartphone and this one doesn't seem up for it. I can't imagine my smartphone without the secondary camera. I and my friends simply love the selfies and groupies and click hundreds of them. It's too much effort to do it with the main camera, so having a cool front camera is much better; it is more fun to have front camera with higher megapixels. My smartphone should do a lot of things simultaneously and not just basic messaging, emails and browsing. And the 2G network is too slow to do anything more than that. I always forget charging my phone so USB charging via my laptop is really a good option for me and sometimes I even use this port to transfer music and images. The internal storage in the Micromax Bolt A61 is quite stingy with the tiny 0.512 GB. I don't know what it is good for when it can hardly hold any of my media files.
