Mr. Ajmera's Review (A business user)

This smartphone size is anytime recommended by me even there might be a slight struggle in typing on small keypad; it is duly compensated with the ease of one-hand usage and portability. With all the advanced call management features present in the Datawind PocketSurfer5, it is good choice for business users like me. Bluetooth for file sharing is really not of much use to me, but this feature is really handy when it comes to hands-free calling.

Mrs. Iyer's Review (A homemaker)

The alphabets on the QWERTY keypad are a bit congested, but the entire size of this Datawind PocketSurfer5 is what I like the most. I keep zooming in on many images and forwards and multi-touch makes this really easy. I won't worry about the other features in the Datawind PocketSurfer5 as the camera is so average and a strong deterrent for me. The tiny memory of this Datawind PocketSurfer5 will not even last me a week. I always feel the more the better when it comes to smartphone storage and I would always chose the Datawind PocketSurfer5 with expandable memory against any other smartphones that are overpriced and overloaded with confusing features.

Ishan's Review (A geek)

The display of this smartphone seems to be very well-calibrated and it keeps me reeled in with my gaming and reading. The multi-touch screen allows me to zoom in or zoom out during a game; also, it feels so real to flick pages of an ebook using my fingers. Although I would recommend a higher frequency for gaming, the 1.2 GHz is not that bad an option. The frequent lags and sluggish loading of games of the dual core processor drives me up the wall. Even the lowest graphics games need RAM higher than this. I dunno what good is storage which is insufficient even for regular apps and programs. Extendable memory is always a great storage backup if you have a growing collection of ebooks, games and apps.

Prachi's Review (A social butterfly)

The first thing I noticed in the Datawind PocketSurfer5 was its 5 inches display. The Datawind PocketSurfer5 has an amazing screen size, I feel. I can type only with one hand and can easily stick it in denim pockets. Though, I personally love my videos on a large screen. The pinching movement on the screen of the Datawind PocketSurfer5 lets me zoom in and zoom out the images. The Multi-Touch technology is too cool as I can rotate images or turn pages of ebook by just flicking my fingers. The Yes, 5 MP camera resolution is not that cool. You can easily opt for any other smartphone with a better camera, it might even be cheaper. I don't think this smartphone can click awesome pictures, which by the way is my favourite hobby. Recently, I can't imagine life without selfies, and hence the secondary camera. Clicking selfies and groupies is a favourite pastime for me and my friends. It's sometimes difficult to click selfies and groupies with the main camera, so always go for smartphones with good secondary camera. I'd like my smartphone to do all my tasks simultaneously not just perform basic functions like browsing, messaging and emails. And I won't depend upon 2G networks for that. The USB connector lets me charge my phone even with my laptop and transfer files. The small 4 GB internal storage of the Datawind PocketSurfer5 feels quite miserly. I don't understand the use of this storage if it can't contain all my media files.
